Brocēni industrial solar farm
The largest industrial solar farm in Kurzeme has been created by the “AJ Power” Corporate Group, the “BaltCap” Infrastructure Fund, and the alternative investment fund manager “AJP Capital” joint venture “PV Power,” with an investment of 4.6 million euros.
A long-term contract has been signed with Latvia's leading building materials manufacturer “SCHWENK Latvija", for the use of green electricity from the Brocēni industrial solar farm, making it the largest long-term green energy supply contract signed by a single company in Latvia. By purchasing green electricity from the Brocēni industrial solar farm, “SCHWENK Latvija” is approaching companies’ climate goals.
The solar park in Latvia is just one of the energy projects currently developed by AJ Power together with alternative investment fund manager AJP Capital and BaltCap Infrastructure Fund. This project not only fosters renewable energy production, but also ensures local capital investment in the country’s energy development and independence.
